COVID-19 Newsletter

Dear Patients and DSPC Community,

First and foremost we hope you and your families are healthy and safe. With the adjustments, cancellations, and postponements being announced in response to COVID-19, I would like to inform you of the clinics’ plans moving forward.

All locations will remain open and maintain normal hours of operation. Currently, there are no plans for closure, but will remain up-to-date on all incoming information being released by the CDC and medical authorities (not social media) and notify you if anything should arise to change current hours of operation.

The safety and well-being is my top priority for all patients and the DSPC community. I have and will continue to implement precautionary measures to prevent the spread of all illness including COVID-19. I want to reassure you of the measures that are being taken to continue to provide a safe, healthy place to help you get out of pain and get back to doing what you love as soon as possible.

The measures that have always been used and will continue to be used:

  • The use of disinfectant/sanitation wipes between patients.
  • Keep the clinic locations as clean as possible.
  • Using daily sanitation protocols to prevent the spread of disease and illness.

I understand and respect that organization and individuals have taken varying approaches and Reponses to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Here is a link from WHO (https://www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/key-messages-and-actions-for-covid-19-prevention-and-control-in-schools-march-2020.pdf?sfvrsn=baf81d52_4)

I want to provide the best evidence and science based care possible, and against popular opinion within the chiropractic profession, chiropractic care CANNOT cure or prevent disease! There is no relevant research or data that can prove otherwise.

Chiropractic can temporary help alleviate symptoms such as headaches, aches and pain, etc, which can help you feel better while your body fights off the illness.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me anytime by email or phone, and I will guide and direct you to the best care and information that I could give.

Sincerely,

Dr. Stephen Ford, DC
